Tattoos for summer! | WritingMonique
July 18, 2014

The weather in The Netherlands is crazy the last couple of days. 30 degrees and counting. I’m not a big fan of this kind of heat, but there are always positive sides. You can eat the newest ice cream flavours, wear dresses without leggins and get a natural tan. These ice cream tattoos are my positive side to this heatwave, they are colorful, fun and they will never melt!

First the packaging. Never have I seen such a creative and lovely envelop before. It’s not only colorful and recognizable (by the lovely logo), but you can unfold the envelop and find a sweet personal message. On the inside you’ll find the tips and tricks to apply or remove the tattoos.

To apply the tattoos your skin needs to be clean and dry. You’ll peel the protective skin of and press the tattoo onto your skin, with the design facing down. Hold a wet cloth against the pad for about 30 seconds and gently peel off the paper. Allow the design to dry without touching it for a couple minutes.

The tattoos stay on your skin for about 5 till 7 days. I find that they stay good for 4 days at last, but it depends on the type of skin where you put it. If you put in on your wrist, it will fade a bit sooner than other places because wrists see a bit more water.

I adore these tattoos. They are so colorful, fun and pretty that they will magically put a smile on your face. They are not that big, but they do attract attention and everyone will smile. And there are so many of them on my sheet! I love them, already got a bunch of compliments about them and will have a fun summer with my new little ice-cream friends.

Also, even my mother wants an ice cream tattoo, and that says a lot because she hates tattoos!

    Hi Monique,

These ice cream tattoos are just so cute. They remind me of my childhood snack which provides a little tattoo too.

Thank you for stopping by my blog a while back which allowed me to discover yours. Love to see newcomers around and I hope we continue to stay in touch.

Your mum sounds like mine, she hates tattoos with a passion as well haha! These ice creams look super cute, I really really really want to put a little ice cream on my foot for summer – I love the packaging and presentation too! Hope you’re enjoying the warmth, here in the UK I’m LOVING the high temperatures! :)
