Confetti Ice Cubes. | WritingMonique

I love fresh drinks and I love them even more when they have some decorations in them, like umbrella’s or colorful straws. In the summer I love putting ice cubes in my drinks, and now I can combine the decorations with the refreshing ice cubes, by taking my favorite party supply: confetti.

Supplies needed:
- Water
- Ice Cubes maker
- Confetti

When you are using straws to drink, you can choose for paper confetti. If you don’t, then please use eatable candypaper. We don’t want you (or someone else) to drink the paper by accident.

This was a horrible picture to make… so cold!

As I said earlier: it’s best to make these confetti ice cubes with eatable candypaper. This way you don’t have to think about every sip you take out of your cold beverage.

The result is so fun and playful, it will at least make you smile while drinking. For parties it is a fun little way to decorate the drinks, with festive colors and for children this looks just perfect. You can put these festive ice cubes in every beverage imagineable, think about child lemonade, but also soda, water and even alcoholic cocktails.

Do you use ice cubes?

Wow these are so imaginatively cool! <3

I do use ice cubes, but the plain and boring kind! Never would have even thought of decorating them, never mind using confetti and I'm crushing on the beautiful end result! How gorgeous do the drinks look?! I love how you've matched the patterns together with matching straws.

I only use ice cubes when it’s really hot. These ice cubes are definitely the cutest ones I’ve ever seen! =)

Oh wow!!! So creative!! I wonder if you came up with this. I was thinking, that is strange, confetti in water, eating paper?? Urgh. But candypaper! That’s ingenious!! Yummy and pretty at the same time, you amaze me! Anyway, thanks for commenting on my blog once again. Returning the support as always :)

I really seldom want to drink something with ice cubes at it is mostly not hot enough for them in Bavaria :) But if I had such cool ice cubes I think I would want them more often! Cool idea <3

This is an adorable idea! It’s a pity you don’t see more colour rice paper around though, I can’t remember the last time I saw it in a shop.
