Monsters in a bottle. | WritingMonique
July 27, 2014

A couple of days ago I was watching Monsters Inc. (The only film with monsters involved, that I do actually watch), and I came up with this new cute idea. Unfortunately we (in The Netherlands) do not really attend Halloween, and I probably couldn’t have waited will November to make this anyway, so I just had to make them right now!

Supplies needed:
-Bottles with cork (I buy them from eBay)
– Green lemonade syrup
– eyes.

Get the cork of your bottle and fill 3/4 of the bottle with green syrup.
Put the eyes on the liquid, make sure the eyes are noticeable.
Put the cork back on.

Ofcourse you can also make other color monsters, with different kinds of lemonadesyrup.

These are the first monsters I actually love (apart from Mike and Sulley ofcourse), and the first monsters ever to get a place in my home. I love the monsterly green color in combination with the cuteness of the small bottle. I put them on my bedside table, and when someone asks I always say: ‘This is my small monster. He protects me from the other bigger monsters out there.’ Yes, they look at me like I am crazy, but they probably have never seen Monsters Inc.

Are you a fan of Monsters Inc.?

Normally honestly I don’t like monsters but this is not valid for the cute monsters you created! What an amazing idea – and indeed the perfect decoration for the time during Helloween. Or I can imagine it’s perfect as decoration for a scary invitation :)

This is such a cute idea! We once did similar think where we made the faces from those little green dolls from toy story in the vending machine, on cupcakes. It was pretty awesome haha.

I love Monsters Inc, recently I was traveling with some friends and we were in one of our rooms and Monsters Inc was on the movie channel so we all ended up watching it instead of going out haha.
